USS Thomas Tracy

Found the picture of the coal collier that was beached during a storm in 1944. I had previously posted some pictures of pieces of steel plate that were uncovered when the pilings for the boardwalk were being dug.

This picture was taken from the foot of Brooklyn Avenue. Underneath the stern of the vessel, you can see the  remnants of the wooden barge, the Merrimack.
